Since 1959, Barbie has been inspiring girls to believe they can be anything. From princess to president, astronaut to zoologist, there isn’t a plastic ceiling Barbie hasn’t broken. Today, she continues to empower girls to imagine all that they can become. For Summer 2020, Barbie and Roxy Girl, two ultimate girl power brands, join forces in a modernized vintage throwback collection just in time for some fun in the sun.

From initial concept, color, design to model casting & campaign art direction, this was one collaboration I am extremely proud to call mine. I worked really closely with the Mattel team to make sure this collection tied together both brands. The main focus was to push diversity, focus on empowerment, but also to tell the story of the Roxy heritage mixed with Mattel’s history. Mixing Roxy heritage florals, fun & playful colors that make you think Barbie, and a vintage Palm Springs twist, this collection is full of fun swim, apparel, and accessories. Size range offered was 4-16
